Florence and the Machine announces UK tour

Florence and the Machine are back and have announced a UK and Ireland tour for November this year. After the release of two new singles, ‘Sky Full of Song’ and ‘Hunger’, and the eagerly anticipated fourth album ‘High as Hope ’due out on 29th June, the band have now released news of an eight date tour. Colchester Church looking for Investment

Holy Trinity Church is one of the oldest buildings in Colchester, with parts of the property dating back to around 1,000 AD with other parts dating from the 14th, 15th and 19th Centuries. It is Grade 1 Listed, highlighting its historical importance. It has been empty since September 2017. Colchester Councillor Tim Young, Portfolio Holder for Business and Culture is looking for expressions of interest for the Church.

Mock Hospital Ward has opened at Essex University

The University of Essex has opened a mock-up hospital ward with robotic patients to help healthcare students prepare for the real world. The new state-of-the-art facilities can simulate patients with a range of medical conditions including sickness, chest infections and heart attacks. Vikki-Jo Scott, head of the School of Health and Social Care has been working on the projects for many months and explained what changes have now been made.
